AWESOME PAXTON CONTEST BELOW:
Black History Proposal for Paxton Announcements
Students, how would you like to be a part of the Paxton morning announcements? You can be just that by researching, writing and submitting an interesting Black History Fact during February-- Black History Month. Your fact should be brief--no more than 2 minutes of reading. Research your fact, then submit it to the office. Ms. Benson and Mrs. Patton will choose the winners based on how clear and interesting your fact is. Look for facts that aren't widely known. Listen carefully this week to the Black History facts. You can pattern your fact after the ones you hear. This is "informational writing", so use what you've learned in class to hook your readers! Good Luck future journalists! Your writing will be accepted throughout February.
