Teaching is my passion! I graduated from the University of Missouri with my Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education. Soon after completing my undergraduate degree, I earned my Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Missouri. I am very fortunate to be a member of the Paxton Keeley Comet family. Last year I taught 3rd grade and this school year I am teaching 2nd grade. I cannot wait to see what this amazing year will bring!
Engagement Surprise!
On Friday, May 23rd, Team Ronzio worked with Mr. Connor to pull off a surprise engagement. While Team Ronzio was playing a math review game, Mrs. Patton walked in and told Ms. Ronzio that Springfield Public School's Human Resources was on the phone for her in the office. Trying to remain calm, Ms. Ronzio walked down to the office while Mrs. Patton watched Team Ronzio. Little did Ms. Ronzio know that Mrs. Patton and Mr. Connor had a plan. While Ms. Ronzio was in the office Team Ronzio prepared for a surprise engagement by holding up the letters "MARRY ME?" After 10-15 minutes the secretaries told Ms. Ronzio that if Springfield called back (because they had to "hang up" before she got to the office) they would transfer the call to the classroom, so Ms. Ronzio walked back to room 202 ready to continue the math game. As she opened the classroom door, she was surprised by the proposal and immediately started crying tears of joy...and of course said YES! What a perfect afternoon!
Color Dash!
On Saturday, April 12th, Ms. Ronzio and her teacher friends participated in the Color Dash at Steven's Lake Park in Columbia, MO. The Color Dash benefitted the Human Society and raised $10,000 from this run. A great and colorful time was had by all! Below are pictures of our team "Educators 4 Life."
