The green reading group finished The Adventures of Granny Gatman. In this book, Granny Gatman attends a fair and causes all sorts of trouble with her umbrella. The author of this book included detailed and descriptive words that allowed the green group to form funny mental pictures in their heads. As a response to their reading, the green group added another humerous event to the book by creating comic strips. Below are some examples.
Robots on the loose!
After reading a book about robots and how they help solve problems in our world (such as doing jobs that humans cannot); students created their own robots and wrote a paragraph about their robot's specific job.

These superstars wrote a script and filmed a video on "How to Scuba Dive" after reading a nonfiction book about scuba diving.

During the month of October, Team Ronzio set a goal to read 70 books. We beat our goal and read 80 books in room 202!! Way to go rock star readers!!! Keep your noses in those books :)
